ShoeScout

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 17, 2026

What we collect

ShoeScout has no accounts and collects no personal information from you directly. Preferences like recent searches and favorites are stored only in your own browser (localStorage) and are never sent to our servers.

Third-party tracking

Our pages include a tracking tag from Impact, an affiliate-marketing platform we use to attribute purchases made through our retailer links. It may collect information about your visit (such as pages viewed and clicks on retailer links) and share it with the retailers we partner with, so they can credit purchases that started here. We do not run ad networks, and we do not sell your personal information.

When you click a Buy button

Purchases happen entirely on the retailer's website under the retailer's own privacy policy. ShoeScout never sees your payment details, shipping address, or order contents.

Your choices

You can clear your browser's site data at any time to remove locally stored preferences, use content blockers to prevent third-party tags from loading, and request deletion of an account (and its data) by emailing us.
